ITEM 1355 Item 1355: An authentic United States Government aeronautical map including Danger Areas of Roswell, New Mexico and surrounding land. This map is marked "Restricted", and dated March of 1945. It covers New Mexico including Carlsbad, Deming Army Airfield, Las Cruces, Hobbs, Seminole, Brownfield, and into Texas; El Paso, Lamesa, and Lubbock. The shaded areas include Danger zones, Radio ranges, Prohibited areas, and Vision hazards. The purpose of the map was for aircraft to navigate the region, and although it was not meant for any UFO or Area 51 considerations; it does show the area. The map is large size, at 24 1/2" by 48 1/2", and it's in excellent condition with the factory folds, and a slight handling smudge on the far left edge in the margin.
