Tacoma Narrows Bridge 1940 Galloping Gertie Original Blueprint For Sale

Item 571:A very Rare offering; an original construction blueprint of the 1940 Tacoma Narrows bridge named Galloping Gertie; that collapsed shortly after it was finished. This blueprint plan was obtained from the estate of the bridge engineer- Clark Eldridge. The plan shows side & front elevations & details of the Tacoma east approach structure. It was approved and marked by the Washington Toll Bridge Authority on February 23, 1940, as well as having the State seal of Lacey V. Murrow- the Washington State Director of Highways and Professional Engineer.
The blueprint size is 36" wide by 22" tall, and it is in very fine condition with wrinkling & folds, and minor edge wear. This unique item will be shipped insured.
