ITEM 2136 Item 2136: Very unusual and large size patch for the group Golden Gate Monitors, Radio Emergency Communications. Presumably the organization was a safety watch group for ships / boats, automobiles, or airplanes, and this was for the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco, California, which was completed in 1937; just before the Tacoma Narrows bridge in 1940. The cloth patch colors are gold and blue, it's size is 8 1/4" in diameter, and it is in excellent condition with no holes & no wear, appears as though it was never used & never sewn on a uniform or flag.
